Grant Fritchey is a database administrator for a major insurance company. He has 18 years' experience in IT, including time spent in support and development. He has been working with SQL Server since version 6.0 back in 1995. He worked with Sybase for a few years. He has developed in VB, VB.Net, C# and Java. He is currently working on methods for incorporating Agile development techniques into database design and development at his company. Grant contributed Chapter 7

Phil Factor (real name withheld to protect the guilty), aka Database Mole, has 20 years of experience with database-intensive applications. Despite having once been shouted at by a furious Bill Gates at an exhibition in the early 1980s, he has remained resolutely anonymous throughout his career.
